SO many of you have helped me raise over $4,700 for CaringKind and I cannot thank you enough. This fall, we are walking to raise money. We won't stop because Alzheimer's doesn't stop. Its all for my favorite person in the world, my Grandmother, Bubbie. In 2012, she was diagnosed with a rare form of Dementia, called Frontotemporal Dementia. FTD tends to occur at a younger age, generally between the ages of 40 and 75. These diseases are cruel and with no treatment or cure, we need to do more.
Alzheimer’s disease is the sixth leading cause of death in the United States and the impact on caregivers continues to increase exponentially year and after year. To do our part, our team is participating in the CaringKind Alzheimer’s Walk. Alzheimer’s disease is not backing down, and neither are we!
Join our team for the CaringKind Alzheimer’s Walk, New York City’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's cause. By joining the fight, you are helping CaringKind, The Heart of Alzheimer’s Caregiving to provide free information, assistance and support for those with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, as well as for their family members, caregivers and professionals.
